Last week we were invited to dress the prestigious Royal York Hotel for a styled bridal shoot. It’s high ceilings and original Victorian features together with modern and stylish furnishings, deliver a timeless style with exceptional service.
We styled The Oak Room; The Royal Yorks main reception room for weddings and events. The Oak room is a stunning untouched Victorian masterpiece with carved wooden clad walls and cavernous ceiling. The huge windows let in an abundance of light and offer wonderful views of the hotel grounds and a distant glimpse of York Minster.
Our design brief was ‘Vintage Wedding’; Using our dainty tea sets, Cloche jars and an abundance of flowers supplied by the talented Joanna Keeley, the Oak room looked superb and every bit the Vintage style that we were asked to create. Classic chair covers with vintage lace sashes gave a soft, delicate finish to the huge Oak room.
We had a great time working alongside other professionals from The Bespoke Bridal Collective: Olivia Brabbs was the photographer and her attention to detail captured the essence of the day perfectly.
Blossom & Belle designed the exquisite couture gowns, which were effortlessly modelled by the gorgeous Isy. Our absolute favourite was the exquisite Mantilla veil.
