Botanical Styling With An Industrial Kiss
When we think of wedding venues in the heart of Leeds city centre, open spaces do
not spring to mind. That was until we had the pleasure of collaborating with the
team at the Faversham. With its impressive footprint and an abundance of beautiful
outdoor space it certainly breaks the mold when it comes to inner-city venues. It’s
refreshing mix of industrial heritage and contemporary flare make the Faversham an
interesting, alternative setting to traditional wedding venues.
We decided to take inspiration from the venue itself, to style the light and airy
conservatory area. It was a perfect canvas of exposed metal girders, reclaimed
wooden furniture and copper pipe lighting fixtures. So it made us feel that an
industrial style would be most fitting to the room. However, to soften the feel of
the styling we decided a fresh understated botanical theme would run throughout and
complement the overall look. Our chosen colour palette was copper, greens and a hint
of blush to match our ‘Botanical with an industrial kiss’ theme.
The stationary was created by Hayley at ‘I do me too’ she matched the botanical
industrial style perfectly and we would highly recommend her and her eye for detail.
We also had the pleasure of incorporating beautiful little favours from the wonderful Savon Claire. The exquisite bath truffles and little skin loving luxuries are all delicately fragranced and are made with the highest quality fair trade oils and butters. Perfect gifts for your guests http://www.savonclaire.co.uk/
